New Business Administrator

Location: Billing Garden Village, Northampton, NN3 9EX.
Salary: Competitive, DOE.
Contract: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch unpaid) plus occasional Saturday working. Exact hours to be agreed with line manager. Time worked on a Saturday will be given as time in lieu or paid as overtime.

Role and Responsibilities

* Carry out the second check of a payout to ensure that all paperwork required to proceed has been received and signed off by an underwriter.
* Complete a verification call with each customer in accordance with guidelines and script.
* Answering incoming calls and directing the call to the relevant person/department.
* Producing finance documents for new agreements and forwarding them to the relevant broker in a timely manner.
* Moving new proposals out of the credit searching error queue for further underwriting.
* Adding joint hirer details to pending proposals
* Processing welcome packs and the scanning/filing for new agreements when required.
* General office duties as and when required.

Person Specification

* At least one year's experience in an administrative position
* Financial services experience is desirable but not essential
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure
* Excellent time management skills
* Previous experience liaising with customers on the phone is essential
* Previous experience of explaining terms and conditions to customers is desirable but not essential
