Summary

Our AI/Machine Learning Engineers deliver intelligent solutions to drive business transformation for our clients. They use Machine Learning and Cognitive technologies and techniques to develop intelligent products and services with the ability to learn and evolve. This includes virtual assistants, image and language recognition and predictive customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and configuring intelligent solutions and processes to support the digital ambitions of our clients.
• Bringing the latest industry thinking and innovating to continuously improve the solutions delivered to clients to bring ingenuity to the team and to maximise business benefits.
• Designing and developing machine learning solutions based on defined requirements.
• Researching and implementing appropriate algorithms and tools.
• Working with complex data sets and apply statistical data pre-processing and analysis techniques.
• Identifying and implementing appropriate data representation methods.
• Training and fine-tuning algorithm parameters to improve accuracy of machine learning systems.
• Ensuring documentation is well maintained where required.
• Reporting status, issues and risks to management on a regular basis.
• Gaining relevant certifications to improve skills/knowledge of automation products and practices.
• Senior Engineers only: Mentoring and coaching Junior Engineers and performing code reviews for quality control.

Qualifications


Skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning engineer or similar role.
• Robust programming background in Java, Python or R.
• Hands on experience of developing and implementing machine learning solutions using at least one cognitive platform e.g. IBM Watson, Google Cloud AI, AWS, Microsoft Cognitive Services or Open source libraries and frameworks (sci-kit learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras etc.).
• Experience of developing and integrating APIs.
• Experience with computer vision technologies such as OpenCV.
• Experience with Natural Language processing.
• Experience of Agile development.
• Self-motivated, team players who are action and results oriented.
• Well organised individuals with strong communication and reporting skills.
• AI/Machine Learning certifications (desirable not mandatory).
