Welcome to a universe of opportunities and platform for you to own your personal and professional development. Bring your ideas and blue sky thinking to the forefront our departmental vision and be part of shaping the future of patient care.

We are seeking to appoint Band 5 qualified Radiographers or Radiography students nearing the end of their training to be part of our friendly and hard-working team. We offer a great career development plan whereby you can progress from a Band 5 to Band 6 after a year.

Your future as a member of the team within our Radiology Department is one of collaboration, empowerment and enhancing the experience for our service users. Being part of a culture that has a commitment to recognising staff development and well-being is paramount to staff engagement and a sense of belonging. We are proud to be part of the NHS workforce and develop members of the team to take on new knowledge and skills in order to feel confident in delivering a system of care that is tailored to meet the needs of our community both internal and external to the department.

We offer a structured induction programme, during which you will be able to consolidate core skills under mentor guidance, become familiar with our protocols and visit our different sites.

Our Radiographers are committed to providing excellent care, whilst learning new skills.

Opportunities exist for professional development in areas that might interest you such as working as part of the team rotating through Plain Imaging, Cardiac Catheterisation, CT, Dexa and Interventional Radiology.

We encourage and support all staff to participate in theoretical and practical teaching sessions in collaboration with St George's University of London. We nurture ambition and so all of our career development opportunities are open to all staff from a brand newly qualified candidate to an experienced one who is considering a change. For each successful candidate a £2000 recruitment premium will be awarded.

We would be delighted to showcase the department and arrange a convenient time for you to visit us, so please be aware you will need to attend the interview at Frimley.

Previous unsuccessful applicants need not apply.
