Summary

V.I.C. Advisor (Scale 4;P18)

Main Purpose of the Job

The post-holder will be the forefront of customer services within the Visitor Information Centres, dealing with members’ of the public enquiries, including the provision of literature, advice, bookings, ticketing, guidance and retail sales.
The post-holder will be required to strive to maintain the high quality standards established within both the award winning Lisburn and Hillsborough Visitor Information Centres, being a vital team player in visitor servicing to visitors and locals to the City of Lisburn.
Essential Requirements:
• Experience of development, management and operation of administrative systems
• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline.
Desirable Requirement:
• ECDL or equivalent or commitment to gain within 18 months of appointment
• Evidence of working within local government
