Summary


We are looking for an experienced individual with leading a team with processing Information Access requests under scope of both Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information legislation. You will be joining the team at this exciting time, when we are looking to aligning working methodologies from across the NCA into a single work stream based on a dual site operation (Salford and Oldham) the post holder will therefore need to work out of both sites for periods of time.

We require an individual ready to lead change within busy teams with demanding workloads. Can you deliver the effective changes needed to support staff in times of change? Do you have project management experience? Do you understand the principles of Information Access Rights.

Applicants must have excellent administrative and customer service skills be organised, enthusiastic and efficient with experience and knowledge of legislation and application of exemptions to lead the delivery of statutory compliance across the NCA. The candidate will also be expected to prepare reports and use analytical skills to use information to support positive change.

You will be required to work in an agile, pleasant and efficient manner, with responsibility for managing teams based primarily on dual sites within the NCA (Oldham/Salford), you must therefore possess good communication and leadership skills and be able to instigate solid local processes. Both you and your teams will have a high volume of work you will need to have the ability to convey complex information in a personalised, easily understandable way.

It is also essential that you are flexible, enthusiastic and can display high levels of initiative, together with the ability to work under pressure individually and as part of a team and undertake your duties with minimum supervision.

Please be advised that all new starters to Corporate posts within the Northern Care Alliance will be employed by Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and be on a Salford Contract. In the first instance it is expected that the successful applicant will need to work at both Salford and Oldham sites for periods each week therefore a flexible and agile approach to work and car driver are essential.
