The following post has become available within KMPT for a dynamic, self-motivated, forward thinking Administration Assistant.

The position will be within the Older Adults Administration team, based in Thanet Mental Health Unit, QEQM Hospital for 18.75 hours per week, and will provide full secretarial and administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team.

Typing will be a large part of the role so good skills in this area are essential, with an audio typing speed of at least 45wpm. The post holder will be educated to GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent, and possess a NVQ Level 3/RSA3 or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organisational and keyboard skills, be a competent audio typist, and possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

They will also pay close attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines, be adaptable to changing/challenging situations and able to manage and prioritise their own work efficiently.

There is an opportunity for career progression within this role.

Prior interview you will be required to undertake numeracy, literacy and typing tests.
