Summary

Fixed term contract until 31 July 2021, 36.5 hours per week.

Do you have experience of working in a laboratory environment or converting industry? Do you have technical expertise and judgement to provide feasible and cost effective decisions on the provision and maintenance of quality equipment and components?

WMG is a vibrant, cutting-edge research institution at the University of Warwick. They are currently seeking to appoint a Process Technician to provide technical support for the WMG-FAB Project (Battery Forensics) to be based in their state of the art Energy Innovation Centre (EIC).

The role requires someone with relevant experience in a related science or engineering discipline as you will be responsible for providing support to both internal and external delegates. As a result, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of awareness for health and safety.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and flexible team-player looking to join a cutting-edge team in the growing area of battery development and forensic research into energy storage devices. The role is predominantly laboratory-based and involves the frequent handing of chemicals and use of characterisation equipment.
