We are currently looking for a committed and highly dependable Deputy Ward Manager to provide a high standard of care to service users currently receiving care within the Grasmere Unit.
A opportunity has arisen on the Grasmere Unit, which is a female Acute Admission Unit for service users requiring support with their mental health.
The Grasmere Unit embraces and works collaboratively with a Multi-Disciplinary Team ensuring that high standards of quality care remains a priority.
The primary role of the Deputy Ward Manager is to co-ordinate, provide and monitor the nursing care of the designated group of service users during the inpatient episode.
The post holder will be required to supervise and co-ordinate Nursing Staff, Student Nurses and Health Care Assistants with an overriding purpose of supporting the provision of the highest quality service user care.
The post holder will be required to assist the Clinical Team Manager with the day to day management of the Nursing Team.
The post will be based on the Grasmere Unit in Knowsley working 37.5 hours per week covering Monday to Sunday 24/7 on a rota basis.
Successful applicants will be offered a full Trust induction and local work based induction. Full access is given to mandatory training and service specific training as identified in the Management supervision process.
This post is subject to an enhanced withadult'sbarred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
