Summary

The Head of Marketing, Design and Brand Management will lead development and delivery of marketing activity for the University in support of its strategic objectives and in the context of the University’s developing marketing and student recruitment strategy.

The post holder will provide expertise in marketing the University to a wide range of audiences within Wales, the wider UK and internationally. These audiences include potential and current students; influencers; supporters; sponsors; partners and staff, and the role purpose is to promote an effective and consistent marketing brand to all target audiences.

The Head of Marketing, Design and Brand Management will also act as lead in development of the University’s Welsh medium element in the University’s Marketing and Student Recruitment Strategy. The person will act as line manager to the Senior Events Team Manager, the Digital and Print Publications Officer and the Marketing Campaigns Officer.

The post holder is responsible for coordinating activity internally to provide a consistent and effective approach to all audiences and manage internal fluctuations in demand proactively and effectively to achieve the University’s overall objectives.
