Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic creative thinking worker to join the Renfrewshire Community Support Service as part of RAMH’s community Days services support this has been designed to deliver a wide range of short term well-being interventions and some longer term group supports for people who experience mental health issues.
This post will lead on self-management approaches in community settings to adults, who are experiencing difficulties in their mental health. The Senior Practitioner as part of the senior team will ensure service delivery reflects the agreed psychological supports and will employ the most recent evidence based approaches, including online digital support. The Senior Practitioner will require at least 2 years’ experience of working with individuals in mental health areas and should have experience delivering one to one interventions e.g. as a Mental Health Practitioner or Counsellor. You will have a recognised qualification eg. Counselling, OT, RMN or SW or equivalent. The Senior Practitioner will also deliver a variety of front line interventions including telephone assessment, one to one time limited sessions. You would also be responsible for contributing to manage waiting lists and producing regular reports on the work this Service undertakes. We are looking for a new member of staff who has a passion for working in mental health services and someone who can share information and deliver interventions to assist recovery from mental health and well-being challenges. You should also be able to support group interventions if required.
