Summary

Major Capital Projects Manager Band 8b

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a healthcare construction, engineering, surveying or design background to join a capital projects team and assist in delivering capital programme and other related accommodation projects across the range of healthcare sites.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in delivering major healthcare capital projects in community and mental health hospital settings whilst minimising the operational impact on the Trust.

As part of the merger with Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation there is an opportunity to work across both organisations with a large capital projects team that works on an ambitious healthcare infrastructure plan across Somerset.

The post holder will be responsible for the service delivery and performance of a number of projects of varying breadth and scope, leading and managing those projects and also participating in the development of good project management expertise, processes and procedures to ensure a quality assured service delivery.
