An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer to join the Sport and Coaching Sciences teaching team at Oxford Brookes University. This will be a full-time (1.0 FTE) fixed term 3 year appointment.

You will be responsible for:
- teaching Human Exercise Physiology and Sport Nutrition
- module leadership, design, delivery and assessment
- supervision and marking of student research projects at undergraduate and post-graduate level
- production of personal research outputs
- contribution to leadership and quality processes within the Sport and Coaching Sciences Programme

You should have:
- SENr Practitioner Registration (achieved or in advanced progress)
- MSc or higher degree in Sports Nutrition with Human Exercise Physiology or similar discipline
- a teaching qualification appropriate to higher education
- substantial experience of working in sport nutrition and human exercise physiology in higher education context
- current involvement in teaching and assessing at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, to include dissertation supervision
- demonstrable track record in course design, assessment development and the ability to contribute to the teaching and management within higher education.
- evidence of curriculum design and development in Higher Education
- evidence of research and / or scholarly activity to include recent publications in peer reviewed journals.
