Summary

Jewish Care is looking for a Compliance Manager to support our Housing with Care and Home Care Registered Mangers. In this full-time role (36.25 hours) you’ll be working across our community based CQC regulated services in Golders Green, Hendon and Redbridge. We take care of our employees as well as our customers, so in addition to your competitive starting salary you’ll receive excellent training and benefits. The role is for a fixed term period of 6 months; this may be extended to 12 months for an exceptional candidate.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly to the Head of Housing and Regulated Services, you’ll support our Registered Managers to achieve and maintain CQC compliance at Good and Outstanding. Your main duties will include (but aren’t limited to):

• Acting as Community Services lead for CQC compliance, best practice and performance
• Investigating complaints of a care practice and/or CQC compliance related nature and disseminating learning to teams working in our services
• Delivering workshop based sessions to our staff teams, aimed at increasing compliance against a range of organisational KPIs

What you’ll need

You’ll be an organised and methodical person, experienced in driving CQC compliance within a health or social care setting. You’ll have an In-depth knowledge of the current CQC standards and inspection framework as they apply to Extra Care Housing and Domiciliary Care Services. In addition to this you’ll need:

• Significant experience of auditing compliance within CQC Regulated Services
• A proven ability to produce and present well evidenced, clear objective reports, briefing papers and practical improvement recommendations
• The ability to work creatively to raise awareness of procedural requirements and best practice
• To be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and easily able to assimilate other software packages
• An emotionally intelligent approach to delivering successful outcomes
