We are recruiting Nursing Assistants for our haematology ward where we care for people with a variety of blood disorders and cancers. We are looking for Nursing Assistants with strong values, who are motivated and organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We require an enthusiastic, committed and professional approach to the delivery of care, ensuring the best patient experience. Candidates should be excellent team players with the ability to use their own judgement to resolve issues. They should also have a tactful, sensitive approach to dealing with difficult and upsetting situations. They should be able to work well under pressure with a flexible approach to work, and a willingness to suggest ideas for improvements. Previous Nursing Assistant experience isn’t essential, just an ability to demonstrate compassion and a commitment to learn how to deliver high standards of patient care.
