The Role:
You’ll be joining Beyond Data Technologies Limited at a time of transformation and you will be a part of

a software developer and with machine learning skills, you will build a combination of web services,
identify new data analytics opportunities, explore analysis options, build case studies, support business development activities and execute/lead associated project work for customers.
Applicants should have recent, relevant experience across each of our 5 key AWS design pillars -
Security, Cost Optimisation, Operational Excellence, Reliability and Performance efficiency; a strong
grasp of AWS cloud, web hosting, machine learning and associated technologies, plus an awareness of current and emerging industry trends.

Minimum qualifications/requirements:
 A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
 Ideally extensive experience in software design patterns, development and architecture.
 Experience with Machine Learning in the Internet of Things and facility management domain.
 Excellent knowledge of facility management.
 Minimum of 3 years experience in web and software development and machine learning.
 Interest in fundamental research and its application into facility management and IoT.
 A thorough and systematic approach to problem-solving
 Using data science, analytics and a variety of analytical, statistical or machine learning techniques to interpret client data, helping them to make better-informed business decisions.
 Excellent presentation, interpersonal, listening, collaborating and communications skills, both verbal and written with clients and colleagues.
 We expect you to have a good grounding and working experience in the following: Python (inc. Pandas), C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Git and PHP.
 Experience deploying software using CI/CD.
 Experience working with Linux container technologies and with highly available and distributed infrastructure in the cloud (AWS).
 Working experience in SQL database query language and AWS cloud-based technology (AWS Certified Solution Architect is desirable).

Key Duties / Responsibilities:
 Design, implement and deliver complex pieces of research and infrastructure.
 Implement and evaluate cutting-edge machine learning algorithms over internet of things and facility management data.
 Research, manipulate and evaluate complex internet of things and facility management datasets.
 Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including business partners.
 Contribute to the publication of results in leading scientific journals.
 Improve system efficiency, monitoring and performance.
 Reduce existing system complexity and technical debt.
 Design, implement and operate highly available, scalable and performant infrastructure and services.
 Be a solid team player and superb communicator who can deliver excellence in both project and support work.
 Work with Third Parties to install and configure software, producing appropriate documentation and training that meets defined standards.
 Design and document operational guides and support processes.
 Lead and deliver cloud deployment projects, data migration projects, system integration projects and technology transfer projects.
 Create training material and meeting content and provide user and technical training
 You’ll get involved in responding to bids from clients, consulting with them on initial requirements, devising and preparing innovative solutions and research plans, leading research, overseeing testing as well as writing, reviewing and publishing reports articles and papers, presenting these outputs at conferences, working groups and events.
 Executing proof-of-concepts and pilots to evolve an idea into a successful prototype or solution
 Design and develop a framework for the building, testing and deployment of models into a large scale, highly performing and customer critical production environment.
 Analyse, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems.
 Design and develop programming systems.
