Due to continued success Premier Care Plus are looking to expand their team of skilled Carers and Support Workers in Flintshire.

• Providing quality care and support to clients within their own homes
• Promoting independence and actively encouraging clients to participate in social and leisure pursuits or general activities such as meetings and appointments; providing practical support to enable them to do so
• Supporting clients with personal care as outlined in individual care plans with due regard to dignity and privacy
• Assisting with household duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, transportation and other related activities
• Encourage more self-help and develop new ways of helping clients retain their independence
• Taking an active role in learning and developing you knowledge and skills

To be considered for a role of Support Worker or Care Practitioner you will have the following experience, knowledge and skills;

• Be willing to undertake training inline with Social Care Wales
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment and enthusiasm to working with people with specialist needs
• Ability to work flexibly, including evening and weekends
• Desire to learn new skills and improve existing skills
• Dedication to providing the best quality of care and support possible
• Ability to display empathy, warmth, patience and understanding
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team in a consistent manner
