A University Teacher is required to contribute to the delivery of module content mostly associated with Human Anatomy. Your duties will include; delivery of lectures and practicals to large and small groups, contributing to module and programme development and administration, maintaining course content on Blackboard, developing student projects, setting and marking coursework and examination papers, providing pastoral support for students via tutorials, working with the departmental administration team and development of activities around innovation and teaching.

You will teach Human Anatomy to both undergraduate and postgraduate students and will supervise final year postgraduate pedagogical research projects. Your specific teaching duties will be allocated by the Head of Department with the role reporting to the Departmental Director of Learning and Teaching.

Candidates should have a good honours degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject area of Biomedical Science, along with a PhD in a subject allied to Human Anatomy or equivalent significant experience teaching cadaveric dissection. Experience in the design, delivery and coordination of teaching in practicals, tutorials and lectures in Human Anatomy is also essential. Experience of teaching Human Anatomy across a broad range of systems is desirable.
