Summary

Are you committed to building relationships with clients?

Do you work in schools and fancy some extra hours over the weekend and during school holidays?

Are you looking for extra hours to help pay for Christmas?

Reed Community Care are recruiting temporary but ongoing support workers who will help to support young people who may have mental health problems, learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.

The support given is tailored to the child’s needs and abilities so it may be activity or sensory based.

Some children may also have behaviour which can be quite challenging.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Implementing support plans
• Promoting independence
• Working as a team to provide the highest level of care
• Liaising with fellow support workers and families
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Be able to support with personal care (if required)

This role is challenging, but highly rewarding – no two days will be the same!

The pay rate is upwards of £9 per hour, shifts can vary in length.
