Design Technology Teacher Required – Burton on Trent
One of our popular mainstream secondary schools in the Burton area who we work very closely with on a daily basis have requested our guidance in recruiting a dedicated Design Technology Teacher immediately for a long term role due to staff absence.
The role will include elements of Resistant Materials and Product Design, and is covering a full time timetable.
*The school are looking to accept NQTs or experienced teachers for this post*
The perfect DT Teacher would have knowledge of the health & safety guidelines working in a workshop environment, previous experience working in a Design Technology environment, preferably with children aged 11-16 (KS3-KS4). The school are looking for the right teacher who will be able to engage their students into their exciting lesson plans and get them interacting with each and every task. Successful teachers will have a UK QTS or relevant teaching qualifications.

*Design Technology specialism
*Experience working in Secondary Schools with children aged 11-16 years old.
*DBS certificate, in date.
