Are you looking for your next role as an experienced Frontend Web Developer/Data Analyst

Do you have previous in-depth experience of MS products to include Excel, Access, Visual Studio and SQL? And a background that includes Cloud experience -- AWS and Azure?

As one of our Technical Data Analyst/Developers, you will work closely with other areas of our Global Data Management division for our Operational Intelligence Platform.

You will be comfortable working independently and in collaboration with colleagues in other countries and with our IT department too. You will be confident following instruction and will have the skills needed to design and develop areas of our internal website. You will work to understand requirements, identify gaps and ensure that our site(s) meet the needs of the user, updating technical requirements as necessary. We are always looking to improve so you will be keen to identify efficiencies and be a positive ambassador for the team's service delivery.

It's a full-time role (Monday to Friday) with a 37.5 hour working week.

Your focus will be:

•Designing and developing internal websites
•Trouble-shooting and bug fixing
•Identifying internal customer needs - listening to information, asking probing questions, applying knowledge and creating solutions
•Reviewing and analysing, making suggestions for improvements as needed
•Acting as SME (Subject Matter Expert)
•Working in a project-focussed environment
•Having deep knowledge of database management and data manipulation
•Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Maintaining a current knowledge of new releases, bugs and issues and communicating and documenting these to others.

Your profile:

•Proven experience working in a technical analyst role, gathering, analysing and supporting data and MIS systems
•Solid understanding of MS products, Excel, Access and SQL to include the ability to effectively write and interpret queries and results
•Proven experience with Visual Studio - ASP.Net, VB.NET, C#, VBA
•Desired - knowledge of Cloud Computing to help with future expansion of current platforms, AWS, Azure.
•Strong technology background, including a current understanding of database systems, databases, business intelligence/reporting tools
•Well-developed customer service skills and a collaborative approach
•Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English)
•Laser sharp attention to detail, strong organizational and planning skills, used to working in a project environment, comfortable acting on own initiative

Your work location

This role will be based in our Old Broad Street office, adjacent to London Liverpool Street Station so well placed for the buzz of City working. There is some opportunity for home working after full on-boarding.
