We are recruiting a Depot Manager for a well-respected company with depots nationwide within the plant and hire industry. The company supplies a wide range of products including non-mechanical plant, safety, accommodation, plant & utilities to the construction, civil engineering, events and other related industries throughout the UK.
The ideal Depot Manager must be customer focused, well organised, commercially aware and an experienced sales negotiator with the ability to plan and co-ordinate a busy hire depot near Cheapside, Ascot.
Previous experience in a management role within the hire industry is essential for this position along with drive, leadership, ambition, an entrepreneurial flair and the passion to succeed. Your goals can be achieved in this role in line with the business hence a salary up to £40k + 2 bonus incentives.
Responsibilities of the Depot Manager
Managing initially a medium sized depot, you will have the autonomy to add staff as you grow in your own image
Maintain and exceed depot targets, profitable already with some sales focus this can easily grow rapidly
Responsible for the day to day operations of a busy hire & sales depot including yard.
Monitor customer feedback and deal with concerns promptly.
Having got this far you will more than likely be a Depot Manager, Service Centre Manager, Assistant Manager, Branch Manager or Assistant Manager / supervisor.
