Band 6 Salary: £34,961-£42,010 per annum(incl of HCAA)

Full time 37.5 hours.



We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated senior therapist that is keen to develop their skills within our friendly and dynamic therapy team as part of our AMU based therapy team.

This position will provide you with excellent opportunities to develop a wide range of clinical and professional and clinical reasoning skills with a wide ranging caseload.

You will further develop strong assessment and analytical skills when managing the functional needs of this complex cohort of acutely unwell and frail older people.

Our therapy service is committed to continuing your professional development (CPD) and in clinical governance. You will be given regular support, training, clinical supervision and will participate in in-house training sessions. You will also have support in developing your supervision and leadership skills.

We have strong links with our local universities, enabling us to make valuable contributions to fieldwork education, as well as working together to develop evidence based practice.

We are looking for a therapist who demonstrates strong team skills and who is capable of assessing and treating the functional needs of patients within the changing environment of an acute hospital setting. We are proud to be part of an integrated therapy structure with our physiotherapy colleagues. We are looking for candidates with the following:
• HPC registration and a minimum of 18months post grad clinical experience including acute hospital care.
• Hard working, adaptable, dynamic individuals who possess high-level communication skills, initiative and self-motivation.
• knowledge and skills related to the frail older adult
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills
