An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse, to work as part of the Addictions Recovery Hillingdon Community (ARCH) team.
ARCH offers a range of treatment and services for adults and young people in the borough of Hillingdon. We are committed to working in partnership with partner services users to provide a variety of psycho-social, criminal justice and social care interventions. Our substance misuse services are dedicated to helping reduce the harm caused by substance misuse dependency; helping people overcome their dependency on substances and helping clients and their families rebuild their lives and enable recovery.
The post-holder will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse(RMN) who will be able to manage a caseload and responsible for the delivery of high standards of nursing care. The Band 6 nurse will be expected to be able to assess and manage substance misusing clients by applying the concepts of harm minimisation approaches, relapse prevention, motivational Interviewing, detoxification programmes according to their clinical needs, and in accordance with up-to-date evidence-based practice and relevant Trust clinical protocol and policies.
