Summary

Summary
Be Caring Tyneside are looking to recruit an experienced full-time care coordinator to join our busy Domiciliary Home Care department.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the day to day management of our services across the Tyneside area. The successful candidate will be able to lead by example and support the departmental Team Leaders to be successful in their roles.

Additions
Full-Time Permanent Contract.
Office based working.
Core Hours Monday- Friday 9am-5pm (Subject to change with the needs of the services)
Weekend working on a rota basis.
Generous On-Call Payments (Paid on top of basic salary)
On-Call duties on a rota basis.

Eligibility Required
Driving Licence with access to own vehicle. Enhanced DBS check will be carried out and paid for by Be Caring Limited

Experience Required
Previous experience working as a Care Coordinator or in a similar role would be a strong advantage when being considered for this role.

Proven track record of coordinating services and managing a team with the ability to work under pressure would help the successful candidate succeed in their employment with Be Caring Tyneside.

Previous experience using care log systems such as CareFree or Coldharbour.

The successful candidate will be qualified at a Level 3 in Health and Social care or above.

The Role
Your role as a Care Coordinator will be to oversee the day to day coordination of our care services across the Tyneside area. You will allocate care calls to our support staff and coordinate shift patterns enabling the service to run smoothly and efficiently.

You will work alongside our management team to support our departmental Team Leaders, ensuring that all aspect of our contractual obligations are being met and exceeded. This may include: ensuring Care & Support Plans are completed and up to date, ensuring all care calls are covered and ensuring that your team are supported to be the best they can be

On-Call duties are expected to be undertaken by the successful candidate, this is completed on a rota basis and payments are made on top of your basis salary.

Due to the nature of the role and the specific requirements you must be a driving license holder with access to your own vehicle.
