Area Account Manager – London
c£40,000 + Bonus (Realistic OTE £55,000)

My client Is an award-winning £21 Million T/O Electronics design & manufacturing company with a truly amazing success story built over the past 34 years. The company research, design, manufacture and sell electronic products throughout the UK Europe, Far East & Australia They have recently opened an office in Germany and are and working towards the emerging markets in South America. Predominantly selling B2B to the flowing sectors: Education, Corporate and SME businesses, Furniture, Seating and Auditoria, Leisure and Entertainment industries

Manufacturing 21st-century products on a 5 year rolling Research, Development and manufacturing programme, all products an made in the UK. They are a market leader in their own right and recognised by the industry as being the number 1 manufacturing company in this field.

The overall purpose of the job:
The company manages a portfolio of businesses across 5 areas in the UK but have decided to create a 6th and separate London as a separate region. Your role is to manage an existing portfolio of accounts, react to new business opportunities presented and proactively bring to trade new accounts by selling the benefits and product range of the company across London. The split will be 50% Account management and 50% New business.

• Where possible, to have a full, and up-to-date, understanding of British standards in electronic manufacturing like BS6396 and any other regulations/legislation
• Proven and demonstrable sales experience with the electronics industry

Experiences and skills required
• Degree, HNC, HND in Electronics or electrical engineering
• Strong presentation skills
• Sales experience with evidence of a demonstrable sales background clearly visible in your CV. (this will be asked for at interview)
• Tenacious
• Solution Orientated
• Ability to plan time effectively
