Job Title: Creative Director
Reporting to: Group Creative Director

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take the lead on devising creative concepts & strategies and oversee them to completion.
• These concepts include written content and/or artwork, created for various channels including TVC, print, digital, social, OOH.
• Driving these concepts forward working in close collaboration with the account management, planning and production teams.
• Direct, motivate and collaborate with designers, developers, social and production teams which could include giving clear direction with regards to design, sound, voiceover, colour grade, editing and animation.
• Optimise KPI’s as ascertained directly with the client and account management teams.
• Proactively seek out solutions to clients’ business challenges.
• Be a point of reference for the creative plans for the clients’ designated accounts.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

This person would come to us with an extensive background in a creative agency environment, with direct experience in design and art direction in FMCG and sports industries. The applicant will demonstrate expertise in taking the lead in generating creative campaigns working in close collaboration with the account management team and planners across TV, print, social and OOH. We have our own in-house production team, so it is essential that they have experience in working closely with directors, videographers, casting teams, graphics and digital designers in bringing concepts to life and be able to confidently provide direction.

One of our core strengths and selling points is the ability to carry out our work through tiny, tight teams so ultimately every individual involved in our projects ought to have experience engaging with clients of all levels and having knowledge in all aspects of the accounts - i.e. strategy, budget control, branding etc. In order to ensure campaign success, the individual will also have experience in working directly with the client, alongside account managers & planners to ascertain KPI’s from which to monitor and understand campaign performance and suggesting further ideas to optimise results.

Specific to this type of team formation, it requires the applicant to have experience and knowledge of the gaming/betting, FMCG and alcohol (specifically spirits) industries in order to immediately immerse themselves into the accounts they would be working on.

They should have a strong background in design and development - with a working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign and Google Suite.

Exemplary interpersonal skills are crucial, particularly in line with our existing company culture.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum bachelor's degree in the arts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent team player.
• A working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign and Google Suite.
• The ability to juggle projects & rally the troops around them.
• They must have the ability to work on their own or with their creative partner assigned to them.
• Have worked across several different media channels.
• Excellent at building a great day-to-day working relationship with both clients and internal teams.
• Experience in the gaming or sports betting arena.
• Experience in FMCG.
• Experience in high-end alcoholic drinks.
• Experience working in a category which is highly regulated (and as such, understanding the regulations around this especially for TVC campaigns).
