We are seeking a first class candidate to lead the Therapy Service in Exeter. Changes across health and social care, both nationally and locally, mean there is a greater need to support people during their recovery from health crisis and to enable them, where possible, to return home and/or remain at home in order to optimise their independence, health and wellbeing.The Community Rehabilitation team is a multi-professional team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Nurse and therapy Support Workers. It is a highly skilled, dynamic team which includes specialists in neurological rehabilitation. The team is supported by experienced Clinical Leads.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, to take on a Therapy Manager role, who understands systems thinking, shows great inspirational leadership abilities and who will contribute to the positive team culture in the Exeter Health and Social Care Team. Exeter Cluster has recently divided into two clusters, Exeter Central & East and Exeter South & West. The post will be managing the Therapy Service in one of the two Exeter clusters.
The post requires that you own and drive a car, as travelling will be required to travel within the area for Trust purposes. There is a mileage allowance which is calculated to reimburse these expenses.
Hours: Full time 37.5 hrs/week
Salary: Band 7 £37,570 - £43,772
