Summary

Graduate Events Marketing Assistant & Coordinator who is bright, tenacious and well presented with first-class written and verbal communication skills (English A-Level or equivalent) that is looking to kick start their career in B2B event marketing is required for a successful business-to-business conferences and events company based in London.


SALARY: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum + Benefits (includes 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays)


KEY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be degree educated and hold a 2:1 or higher with B grades or higher at A-Level (or equivalent), which includes English.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete an English Skills Test as part of the recruitment process.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Company is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Events Marketing Assistant & Coordinator to join their growing, friendly team.

As the Graduate Events Marketing Assistant & Coordinator, you’ll need to have some previous work experience (not necessarily in marketing or events), be computer literate, hardworking, have a great eye for detail and be able to handle yourself professionally on the phone and face-to-face.

The Company require a strong, pro-active individual who will go the extra mile to generate delegate revenue and help grow the marketing department.

As the Graduate Events Marketing Assistant & Coordinator, you will need excellent copy writing, proofing and Microsoft Excel skills, along with a good eye for design.

DUTIES

Duties as the Graduate Events Marketing Assistant & Coordinator:

• Database Management

• Managing the websites for various conferences

• Writing and designing email campaigns (Copywriting)

• Telesales / Telemarketing

• Online digital and social media marketing

• Speaking to senior clients on the telephone and face-to-face

• Helping to run the conference on the day


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• 2:1 degree qualification or above (or equivalent)

• Accepted degree subjects - Essay based subjects are preferred, but not essential

• Must have a Grade ‘B’ or higher in English at A-Level (or equivalent)

• Preferably have previous office-based work experience (not necessarily within the conferences / events industry)

• Experience in proof reading would be desirable and copywriting along with a good eye for design

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
