At a time of exciting developments in the School of Art, Design and Architecture, a highly creative and enthusiastic individual is required for the 1 FTE post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design with a specialist knowledge of Interaction Design.
The successful candidate will have a track record of Interactive Design practices in the global design industry. A strong ability to contribute to research in this field as well as to curriculum planning and teaching delivery is essential. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who can facilitate and build proactive relationships across the School of Art Design and Architecture.
The Department of Art and Communication currently offers an exciting mix of art and design courses and is committed to promoting high quality research, teaching and learning, which reflects contemporary knowledge and understanding related to studio practice, theoretical context and industry. The School is particularly interested in candidates whose research traverses graphic design and adjacent areas of practice (and/or incorporates other cross-disciplinary thinking), innovation and professional creative contexts.
