Finance Officer (Sales Ledger) - Wrexham - £19-22k - 12 month FTC
Your new company
You will be working for an established organisation within the public sector who are a fantastic employer of choice in the area. They are looking to take someone in to their finance team on a 12-month FTC.
Your new role
You will be tasked with posting invoices on to the finance system, ensuring that all income is accurately recorded, working closely with the Head of Finance. It will be important for you to reconcile the ledger, recording all payments received and allocating these onto the system. There will be an element of credit control in the role and you will ensure accuracy and attention to detail is second to none. It is important that you are compliant and work to all company regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a sales ledger type of role and it is important that you have had previous experience of entering invoices and data on to a finance system. You should be able to hit the ground running and will be a strong user of Microsoft Excel. Although working within a medium sized finance team, you should still have the ability to work independently as well.
