Are you an RGN or Midwife with a SCPHN qualification looking for a Bank role as a Band 6 Health Visitor? Essex Child and Family Wellbeing, in partnership with Barnados, have fantastic opportunities for Bank Health Visitors to join our South Essex region, in our hubs in either Basildon, Brentwood, Rayleigh, Rochford, Thundersley, Canvey Island or Billericay teams.

Since 2017, Virgin Care in partnership with Barnardos working together as The Essex Child and Family Wellbeing service have delivered innovative and refreshing health and social care pre-birth to 19 years services to Essex Families. We have developed our own unique approach where our patients are at the centre of everything we do and right now, we’re looking for a Health Visitor to join our Healthy Family Teams to help us continue to change things for the better.
You will be a qualified nurse or midwife with a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification. You will need strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach to ensure you deliver positive experiences to our clients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
As a Health Visitor you will work closely with our partners from Barnardo's and other key agencies you’ll assess health needs to develop, implement and evaluate packages of care, operating as a specialist practitioner.
You’ll care for our clients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.
We have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. You’ll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. You’ll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads.
