The medical workforce projects department at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, customer focused individual to join a team of professionals within the medical workforce team responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and high quality project support service.
The work will include activities relating to but not limited to consultant and SASG job planning, junior doctor rota design, exception reporting, service redesign, role evaluation and design and other medical staffing projects.
The post holder will be required to undertake a range of tasks that require the exercise of initiative to a significant level within defined limits and will include the deployment of secretarial and organisational skills.
The post holder must be able to work autonomously while at the same time demonstrating a positive approach to multi-disciplinary working.
The role requires a high degree of computer literacy, negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex queries in a sensitive manner, as well as to set up, manage and report on a variety of time-limited projects linked to such matters as the development of rotas, job planning and ensuring EWTD compliance.
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate Trust values and the skills and attributes detailed within the Person Specification; in particular, you should have a high level of autonomy and a strength in communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Your interpersonal skills will be a key requirement and you would have previously worked as part of a team and be able to deal with high volume administration in a busy environment.
