We are seeking highly skilled and motivated B1 or B2 Licensed Engineers to join our dynamic Engineering team at Stansted Airport. This is a key role supporting both line maintenance and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) operations, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest regulatory standards.
As an Aircraft Engineer
You will be responsible for the certification and delivery of aircraft maintenance inputs in accordance with current regulatory requirements and company MOE procedures. You will play a critical role in AOG recovery support, base maintenance activities, and ensuring operational readiness at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Certify line and AOG maintenance activities within scope of licence privileges
Provide rapid response support for AOG events, including short-notice travel
Ensure all maintenance is carried out in line with regulatory and company standards
Act as a professional representative of the company to aircraft owners and customers
Maintain high standards of communication during all deployments
Support base maintenance operations when not deployed
Take responsibility for AOG response equipment, tooling, and vehicle readiness
Promote and comply with all safety, quality, and compliance procedures
Essential Qualifications & Requirements as an Aircraft Engineer
Valid, unrestricted EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
B2 candidates must hold electrical systems privileges
Recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship
Current or recent experience on relevant aircraft types
Engine ground run approval (or ability to obtain)
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance procedures (MOE compliance)
Ability to remain current on required aircraft type ratings
Skills & Attributes

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
