As a Catering Assistant for Sodexo at (add in a little about location or the school maybe?) Truro High School for Girls, Falmouth Road, Truro, TR1 2HUyou will assist in the preparation of servicing and dining areas, food service, cleaning of equipment, utensils and working areas whilst maintaining correct levels of health and safety. You will ensure the prompt and efficient preparation and service of all meals to the company’s standard and to the client’s satisfaction and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the Unit to the required standard in the Service Level Agreement

What You Do:
- Assist in setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods from counters and steam tables
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations(American spelling)
- Reads recipes and/or product directions and estimate food requirement
- Serve and replenish food from counters and steam table and break down stations at the end of meal periods (extra space in here)
- Interacts with students in the serving, retail, and dining areas
What You Bring:
- Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
- Basic food-handling skills
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- No previous work experience required
