About You:

You are an experienced and motivated fundraising professional with a strong track record in securing and stewarding gifts in wills. You bring excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and confidently with supporters. Strategic and organised, you are comfortable developing and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels, while managing budgets, analysing performance, and working towards targets. You have a good understanding of legacy giving, including relevant legal and probate processes, and are confident collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation and externally. With excellent communication skills and a proactive, creative approach, you are passionate about making a lasting impact and driving long-term income growth

This is a part-time role, offering flexibility with home-working when appropriate.

We are ellenor, your local hospice charity, providing vital support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses across North Kent and Bexley.

At ellenor, we embrace life, offering support to adults and children from the moment of diagnosis and beyond. Our services for adults include an Inpatient Ward
and Community Services – including Hospice @ Home and Care Home Support, plus
Wellbeing and Therapeutic Services. For children and young adults, we provide specialised hospice care within the community, including end of life care, clinical nursing and oncology support in their own home, as well as respite and wellbeing support.

We understand the profound impact of a life-limiting condition, and we are here to offer compassionate care and support throughout this time.

About the Role:

The Legacy Giving Manager will inspire and facilitate our supporters to leave gifts in their wills, build strong relationships with legacy pledgers, and grow a sustainable pipeline of future income. Combining fundraising, marketing and stewardship, the role project manages campaigns across multiple channels and communicates sensitively and regularly with our supporters to showcase the impact of their support. Working collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners, the postholder will also oversee budgets and legacy administration to ensure the continued success and growth of the programme.
