About the service

Our Blantyre Housing Support Service is a vibrant and caring environment where we support individuals with complex needs, including physical disabilities and communication challenges. Right now, we’re supporting two sociable women who love getting out and about—whether it’s karaoke, lunch outings, Friday night discos, or storytelling and physio sessions.

As a Female Support Worker*, you’ll play a key role in helping the people we support enjoy meaningful days and reach their personal goals. You’ll provide one-to-one support and help with:

Personal care, household tasks, medication, meals, and money management
Working closely with families, team members, and the individuals themselves
This is a lone-working role, ideal for someone who’s friendly, reliable, and passionate about people


What's the Shift Pattern?

Our Blantyre service provides 24/7 support, so shifts include early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight.

This is a lone-working role, with a rota that includes:

Early shifts – typically between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM
Late shifts – usually between 2:30 PM and 10:00 PM
Wakened night shifts – from 9:45 PM to 7:45 AM
Longer day shifts – available between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM
Your rota will be planned in advance, with a mix of shift patterns across the week.
