Summary

About the role:
Working closely with Headteachers, Senior Managers, School Leadership Teams and School Governing Body members you will provide effective and timely HR advice and support. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers are equipped to effectively manage their staff in a fair and appropriate way, through the provision of sound professional advice, support and guidance on a wide range of workforce issues including all areas of HR casework and redundancy consultation.
About you:

- Commitment to supporting the schools in Powys to help all learners achieve their full potential - Casework management including complex cases, ideally in an Education environment - Experience of managing redundancy consultation processes - Ability to advise in hearings relating to Employee Relations matters - Ability to work collaboratively with a team - Ability to manage and prioritise a complex and varied workload
What you will do:

- Work with Headteachers, Managers, Governors and colleagues to progress and resolve casework - Support schools in Management of Change and redundancy consultation processes - Attend formal hearings in relation to a wide range of Employee Relations matters - Collaborate with the Schools' HR Team in relation to policy and toolkit development - Work with Trade Union representatives to achieve positive outcomes - Travel throughout Powys and the the ability to work occasional evenings will be required.
