Summary
Main description
Love working on a farm and fancy gaining a qualification in the process.... Come and join our family run farm in the beautiful Devon countryside
The main duties will include but are not limited to:
Operating farm machinery including tractors and attachments
Monitoring livestock
Monitoring supplies stock e.g. livestock feed etc
Handling livestock and providing appropriate accommodation for them
Working in a team and keeping records.
Robot milking
Farm maintenance and upkeep
Entry requirements
Maths and English would be an advantage
Skills required

Physical fitness
Training to be provided
You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship.
As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in agriculture.
Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning.
You will gain a Livestock Technician Level 3 qualification with further opportunities for training
Functional skills maths and English if required
Things to consider
Will need a driving license due to location. Ability to drive a tractor would be an advantage Working between the hours of 6.30am- 8.00pm Monday to Sunday on a rota
