We are building a practical, commercially focused team in the UK to support product development, testing, operations, sales and customer growth.
The Role
We are recruiting a qualified Finance Manager to oversee all company financial operations, guarantee full compliance with local financial rules and deliver reliable financial analysis to support the firm’s continuous R&D and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting work including general ledger management, AP/AR administration and monthly bank reconciliations.
Compile monthly management accounts and formal financial statements complying with FRS 102 / IFRS UK accounting standards.
Complete periodic VAT filings and corporation tax calculations & submissions punctually and accurately.
Participate in annual budgeting & rolling forecasting, deliver variance analysis and financial modelling for management decision-making.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants and HMRC throughout inspection and audit procedures.
Establish and upgrade internal financial control systems to protect corporate capital and property.
Optimize cash flow and working capital management to sustain regular business operations.
Assist in R&D tax relief application and financial planning for new product development projects.
Present structured financial data and actionable insights to senior leadership team.
Essential Requirements
Hold recognized professional accounting qualification: ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in UK finance management or senior accounting roles.
In-depth understanding of UK GAAP rules, VAT policy and UK corporation tax legislation.
Proficient in mainstream accounting software (Xero, Sage, SAP etc.) and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Outstanding organization and cross-party communication skills to connect with all internal & external stakeholders.
Meticulous, self-driven, capable of solo working and team collaboration.
Strict personal integrity with excellent confidentiality awareness.
Full right to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills
Prior working experience within consumer hardware, IoT or pet tech industry is a bonus.
Basic Mandarin reading & speaking ability beneficial for cross-border financial coordination with Chinese partner teams.
