The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher to support pupils learning at St Meriadoc CE Infant and St Meriadoc CE Junior Academy. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment, helping pupils to develop academically, socially and emotionally while building confidence, independence and a love of learning.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, planning well-structured lessons in line with the school’s curriculum. You will assess, monitor and report on pupils’ progress, using this to adapt your teaching and ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
The role involves creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel valued and supported, promoting high standards of behaviour, wellbeing and achievement. Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals, you will contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school and support a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
We are looking for a committed and reflective practitioner with strong subject and curriculum knowledge, effective behaviour management skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. You will have high expectations for all learners and a clear commitment to professional development and maintaining high standards in your practice.
