Summary
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to take charge of commercial growth and client acquisition for The AI Consultants (https://www.theai-consultants.co.uk).
Instead of managing the technical backend, your primary mission is to turn our online presence, brand, and digital offerings into a high-performing sales machine. You will own the entire sales pipeline—from capturing incoming website leads and outbound prospecting to pitching our premium AI consultancy, digital marketing solutions, and automated training courses to business clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion & Pipeline Management: Actively monitor, follow up with, and close incoming business inquiries generated through our website forms, chatbot interactions, and landing pages.
B2B Outbound Sales: Identify and proactively approach potential business clients, retailers, and corporate partners who need our AI training modules, workflow automation, or brand consulting services.
Consultative Pitching & Closing: Conduct discovery calls and presentations with business owners and decision-makers, understanding their pain points and proposing tailored service packages.
Commercial Site Optimization: Collaborate with our team to ensure the website’s messaging, call-to-actions (CTAs), and service pages are strictly optimized to drive conversions and sales.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients post-sale to encourage repeat business, up-selling, and long-term project retainers.
Sales Reporting: Track monthly sales targets, pipeline health, and lead-conversion rates to help guide our business growth strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven B2B Sales Track Record: Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, or sales—ideally selling digital services, tech solutions, corporate training, or agency services.
Strong Commercial Acumen: Ability to confidently articulate the value of AI integration, automation, and modern digital marketing to business owners.
Excellent Communication: Exceptional written and verbal pitching skills, with the ability to build trust quickly over the phone, email, or video calls.
Tech & CRM Literacy: Comfortable using CRM tools to track leads and using basic web interfaces to monitor where client inquiries are coming from.
Self-Motivated & Target-Driven: A hustle mindset with a passion for building a business footprint and hitting revenue goals.
