Summary

WEA Learn Group Learning Lead
£27,693 – £29,746 per annum
Hybrid – based at any WEA office (with some travel)

If you are looking for a meaningful role where you can build something, work with lots of people, keep standards high and really make an impact, read on!

The WEA is the UK’s leading voluntary sector provider of adult education—bringing high-quality, life-changing learning into the heart of communities.

We’re on a mission to make lifelong learning accessible to everyone who needs it—tackling inequality and driving social justice. And we’re looking for someone who shares that passion.

About the role

WEA Learn is our dedicated home for cultural and humanities learning, created with learners in mind and built to be flexible, welcoming and high quality.

We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated Group Learning Lead to join our small but ambitious team and take our in-venue group learning offer to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves variety, thrives on challenge and enjoys bringing people, plans and ideas together to create brilliant learning experiences.

You’ll play a central role in shaping delivery, driving performance and making sure every event is well run, responsive and learner focused. From developing exciting provision to keeping quality high and supporting growth, you’ll help make WEA Learn even stronger.

You’ll:

work independently and keep every detail on track
drive performance and help shape delivery
make sure learners have an excellent experience
support the success of group learning across WEA Learn
create engaging provision that responds to learner needs
contribute to growth, quality and learner engagement
help evolve and strengthen the WEA Learn programme

As a brand new role, this is a genuine chance to make your mark in a growing area of our work.

About you

You’ll be someone who thrives on challenge, enjoys working with people and has a sharp eye for detail. You’re highly organised, proactive and dependable, with the ability to keep lots of moving parts running smoothly without losing sight of quality.

You’ll enjoy working in a role that combines planning, coordination, problem-solving and relationship-building. You’ll be confident working at pace, managing resources effectively and helping deliver a great learner experience from start to finish.

Alongside a passion for widening access to education, you’ll bring commercial awareness and experience of meeting financial targets. If you like making things happen, spotting what needs attention and helping turn a good idea into a well-run, high-quality offer this could be a great fit.

Why join us?
