Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Support with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met
• Help clients with medication reminders in accordance with care plans
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
• Foster a friendly and respectful environment through effective communication
• Support clients in engaging with social activities and community events where appropriate
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Qualifications
• Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is essential;
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Driving licence is advantageous but not compulsory
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
