Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit 1 Class Teacher on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave for the whole of the next academic year, 1st September 2026 - 31st August 2027.

Crown Wood Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our existing teaching team on a full-time, permanent/ fixed term basis. We are looking for a versatile professional who is able andwilling to work across the whole primary setting.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has teaching experience in KS1and KS2.
• Is flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with a positive "can-do" attitude.
• Has the ability to make learning fun and establish excellent relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
• Is committed to our core values of Inclusion, Collaboration, Success, and Achievement.
• Shares our commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.

As a Class Teacher, you will:

Plan and teach exciting lessons designed to captivate children and promote high-quality learning. Other responsibilities will include being accountable for the attainment and progress of your pupils, maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment, and working proactively in partnership with parents and external agencies. You will also be expected to contribute to the wider life of the school.
