Summary
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Charge Nurse to work in an amazing care home based in the Northampton area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
This is a medium sized, luxury care home with purpose-built facilities making it the perfect setting for nursing, residential, dementia and respite care
As the Charge Nurse your key responsibilities include:
• Lead and inspire a team of nursing staff to deliver outstanding, person-centred care
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing, ensuring residents are supported to live fulfilling lives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold high-quality care standards in line with CQC requirements
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors
• Support the Home Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the home, taking responsibility for operations when required
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and best practice guidelines
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff, encouraging professional development and excellent performance
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home
• Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services
• Experienced in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
• Able to maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology
• Able to support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**
The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £48,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
