Summary
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates strong clinical expertise, sound judgement in complex decision-making, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, a commitment to high standards of patient care, and the ability to contribute positively to a dynamic clinical environment are essential. The successful candidate must be comfortable delivering consultant-led care within a district general hospital setting, including participation in a 1:12 on-call rota providing trauma services. This will involve the assessment and management of acute orthopaedic injuries, ensuring timely, safe and effective care for patients presenting with a wide range of traumatic conditions. The successful candidate will also play a central role in delivering and developing both elective and trauma orthopaedic services, with a particular focus on complex and revision lower limb arthroplasty.
