Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Planning Business Support Team. The Level 7 roles primarily work as part of a small friendly team who register and validate all applications received by Planning Business Support. The successful candidates will also provide administrative support for planning appeals, manage discharge of condition applications and a variety of other related task. You will need to be confident in identifying and interpreting application documentation, be able to understand application plans and certificates. With support from colleagues you will be providing guidance and updates to applicants, developers, agents and Councillors.

The successful applicants will be customer focused, with excellent IT skills preferably with experience of dealing with a wide range of customers. You will also need excellent communication skills both in writing and over the telephone and be confident in managing your own workload.
