Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
Transport goods, materials, or personnel to specified locations promptly and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning.
Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring items are secured correctly to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle logs, reporting any incidents or vehicle issues promptly.
Support other operational tasks including site maintenance and assisting team members as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and interactions.
Requirements
Valid driving license appropriate to the vehicle class with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver in a commercial or similar environment.
Good knowledge of local and regional road networks and traffic laws.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying heavy loads safely.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
