Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Central Walker Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join their school, supporting pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2.

We are looking for a colleagues who can inspire and influence and has;

• The ability to effectively supervise and educate whole classes across Key Stages 1 and 2 during the short term absence of the teachers.
• An understanding of how young people learn, including a an awareness of the National Curriculum, effective teaching principles, and assessment strategies.
• The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons clearly and enthusiastically, ensuring pupils understand the tasks set.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• An ability to work well as part of a team, committed to the wellbeing and care of all children.

Further details about the role

This is a permanent post, and is term time only plus 5 training days, working 34.5 hours per week:

• Monday 8.30am - 3.30pm
• Tuesday & Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm
• Wednesday 8.30am - 3.45pm
• Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm
