About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to:
• Teach and lead within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons
• Promote a culture of high achievement, positive behaviour, and inclusion
• Support and uphold the school’s commitment to Equal Opportunities and safeguarding
• Lead a foundation subject, contributing to curriculum development, staff support, and school improvement
Key Responsibilities
You will:
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Track pupil progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the wider leadership team
• Provide a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
• Engage with parents through meetings and reports
• Contribute to school life through assemblies, duties, and ongoing professional development
As a Subject Leader, you’ll also:
• Support curriculum planning, monitoring, and development
• Help drive improvements and contribute to the School Development Plan
• Support colleagues through guidance, training, and shared best practice
